13. Recipes

13.1 Waffles (Belgian style)

For these recipes, use the interchangeable

plates for waffles7a.

Basic waffle recipe

• 5 eggs

• 200 g sugar

• 2 packets of vanilla sugar

• 250 g butter

• 500 g flour

• 5 g baking soda

• 400 ml milk

• Icing sugar, fruit or cream to taste

1. Whisk the eggs until frothy.

2. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar.

3. Add the melted butter a little at a time.

4. Mix the flour and baking soda together

thoroughly.

5. While stirring continuously, alternately

add spoonfuls of the flour mixture and

milk.

Waffles with cinnamon and

white chocolate

• 3 eggs

• 150 g sugar

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• 150 g melted butter

• 250 g flour

• 50 ml milk

• 100 g grated white chocolate

1. Whisk the eggs until frothy.

2. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon

and add to the eggs.

3. Add the melted butter a little at a time.

4. While stirring continuously, alternately

add spoonfuls of flour and milk.

5. Fold in the grated chocolate.
